  1. Pragmatic — He gathered all of his knowledge through experience, as we all know he was uneducated yet he made immeasurable achievements, he dealt with circumstances practically rather than theoretically.
  2. Secular — A great example of a religious tolerant Mughal, Akbar waive off pilgrim tax, “Jaziya”, he built unity among Hindu-Muslims, He married a Hindu princess. Half of his 9 Navratans were Hindu. He never forced anyone to convert their religion. He made alliances with other religions.
  3. Not to be impressionable — Akbar was though to be fooled easily, he and his team always took proactive steps. He was watchful, prepared, and prudent for whatever comes his way.
  4. Approachable — Deewan-i-aam, a place where Akbar interacted with people. Where petitions were heard, proclamations made, embassies received and entertainment programs held. He uses to visit villages to take the ground report of how his policies being implemented.

5. Courage to take strong decisions — Throughout his entire reign, he made tough decisions whether it is a declaration of war, a new law that the public wasn’t ready to admit. Akbar made all his commitment to integrity.

6. Curiosity to learn — Although he was uneducated, he enjoyed learning new things, like philosophy, about a new religion, cultures, which ultimately helped him attaining knowledge.

7. Working commitment — To have such a widespread dynasty hard work pays off to sustain it. Whatever temperament he might have he stood up for his work without considering what time of day it is.

8. Proactive attitude — Akbar perpetually strived to take proactive measures for his kingdom. For instance, he doubted that a traitor had entered his palace but he can’t catch him directly out of respect, then he used to set up an investigating team so that he might not harm anyone.

9. Credence of failure — Akbar had tremendous success in life but there’s always a time when one has to face defeat. He came up with enormous strength after facing failure.

10. Influencing technique — He entices his public and alliances firmly so that both parties can be availed.
